LP Gas

LP Gas is a very versatile fuel because it burns easily in air with a hot, clean flame and a great deal of it can be contained in a relatively small container.

It has long been used in:

Plett Gas has been a distributor for Industrial LP Gas for over 40 years.  All our LP Gas cylinders of size 9KG and larger come in the distinctive grey colour.  All full cylinders have a seal of approval on the valve which is your assurance that the cylinder is safe for use and has been filled correctly.

LP Gas cylinder sizes

All of the cylinders listed below are fitted with a standard South African horizontal 5/8″ BSP female left hand thread.  The left hand thread is used with many fuel gases for safety reasons.
